Beating the Odds in Wilkin County

An client on MFIP is working her way off the system with the help of RMCEP job counselors.  Ashely Kiser is a single working mother of four who grew up on welfare assistance.  Although Kiser was born and lives with a brain tumor and suffers from a number of other serious health issues, she had no interest in applying for disability insurance.  As part of MFIP, this strong-willed woman is getting help from RMCEP, which contracts employment and training services with Wilkin County.
