Pathways to Prosperity Training and Education Grant

Pathways to Prosperity (P2P) is a grant program that offers financial assistance to people seeking education and training to enter high-demand fields. The Employment Counselors at RMCEP create individualized training pathways to help participants complete post-secondary degrees, diplomas, or certificates.

Employment Counselors can also help with job placement or securing on-the-job training and work experience. The goal of the program is for employees to exit into employment, launching their careers with freshly honed skills.

Who Can Participate in P2P?

Participants must be at least 18 years old, cannot be enrolled in any K-12 school, and need enhanced educational and support services to be successful in securing long-term family-sustaining wages.

Anyone who enrolls in P2P must be authorized to work in the United States and meet one of several target populations, or be an individual who holds a degree outside the United States and struggles to transfer credentials.

What Industry Sectors Apply?

P2P enrollees can seek education and training to enter one of six primary industry sectors:

  • Agriculture
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Manufacturing
  • Transportation
  • Wholesale Distribution

The goal of this grant is to support people in achieving their career goals while also filling workforce gaps in the local community. Employers benefit from this program by having a larger, more skilled talent pool to hire from.
