Early Childhood Education Career Pipeline Initiative
RMCEP, in partnership with the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, is proud to offer the Early Childhood Education Pathways Program, serving Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, and Mahnomen counties through our Detroit Lakes, Bemidji, and Wadena teams.
This initiative is designed to expand awareness of Early Childhood Education careers and guide both youth and adults as they explore training pathways. Participants receive career coaching, hands-on learning experiences, and exposure to credentialing programs, while local childcare providers gain connections to the next generation of educators. Through school-based activities, work experiences, and community engagement, this yearlong program strengthens the Early Childhood Education pipeline, supports local providers, and helps build a thriving early learning system that benefits children, families, and communities across Northwest Minnesota.
Eligibility:
Individuals ages 14 and older who live in Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, or Mahnomen counties and are interested in exploring a career in Early Childhood Education are eligible to participate. Those who want hands-on work experience will be officially enrolled in the program.
