Heading towards crunch time: Funding for job training in jeopardy

Rural Minnesota CEP, Inc. team leader for the Fergus Falls office, Nichole Norgren, says the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) has not yet been reauthorized.
In May of 2022, the US House of Representatives passed a reauthorization bill and sent it to the Senate, where the bill stalled. Currently, because the act is still in reauthorization status funding is still coming in, but Rural MN CEP would like to see permanent legislation put in place.
