Chrys Kirschbaum facilitates the Regional Workforce Alliance (RWA), bringing together stakeholders from across 26 rural counties in Workforce Development Areas 1 and 2 to strengthen collaboration, promote inclusive workforce practices, and align regional strategies. Chrys also leads the Rural Career Counseling Coordinator (RC3) initiative, funded by the Minnesota Legislature through a state statute that recognizes the critical need for career counseling in rural areas. In this role, Chrys coordinates Youth Service Coordinators who provide career advising in schools, supporting their efforts to deliver meaningful career exploration and guidance that reflect the diverse needs of students and communities across the region.
She also provides support with Perkins Grant, Second Chances, Stronger Futures, Navigator (sessions on career exploration, resume and interview help), and financial literacy sessions at REWIND, Inc and Perham 180 in Perham, Minnesota.
