Transitional Internship Experience Success Story

5 Dec 2016

As the first WIOA Out-Of-School Youth Program participant, Garrett became involved in the internship program in the March of 2016 after participating in other work training programs and services provided by Rural Minnesota CEP. Garrett created a resume, obtained his GED, and obtained a Silver level National Career Readiness Certificate. As a result of Garrett’s internship success, he was offered a position as a Computer Technician at the local high school.

Garrett has since applied to the local community and technical college to pursue the Computer Programming A.A.S and is set to begin employment fall of 2016. While there are many individual success stories resulting from the programs and services provided by Rural Minnesota CEP, please contact Rural Minnesota CEP how you can get involved and be your own success story.
