Detroit Lakes, MN – October 18th – The Northwest Regional Workforce Alliance is excited to celebrate the 5th anniversary of its Inclusive Workforce Employer (I-WE) program. Led by Christine Kirschbaum, Regional Coordinator at RMCEP, in partnership with Inter-County Community Council (ICCC), this milestone underscores the commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in workplaces.

Launched to promote inclusive practices, the I-WE program has evolved with a focus on practical DEI strategies and measurable outcomes. It offers a streamlined application process, comprehensive support through consultations, and formal certification for employers who meet I-WE standards. Regular evaluations help businesses continually improve their DEI efforts. “Our 5th anniversary of the I-WE program reflects our dedication to helping employers integrate DEI into their everyday operations,” said Christine Kirschbaum. “It’s an honor to lead this initiative and celebrate the success of our participating employers.” For more information about the I-WE designation or to complete an application for consideration- visit RMCEP at rmcep.com or contact Chrys Kirschbaum at christinek@rmcep.com.
