The Minnesota Youth Program consists of different elements such as: paid work experience, coordination with summer school classes and working, leadership development opportunities, mentoring, and limited supporting services. The goal of the program is to provide each youth with a working experience that cultivates a positive and healthy learning environment during the summer months.
Rural Minnesota Concentrated Employment Program, Inc. provides this experience for those who are between the ages of 14 and 24, meet certain income requirements, or be considered an at-risk youth.
